Home Area Network (HAN)
This type of network is a LAN but is setup in a home, instead in a business. The user can connect its devices (e.g. PCs, laptops/notebooks, video games consoles, printers, etc.) to its network. Any devices with the capability and the appropriate settings can have access to the internet. Also, the devices can be connected to the network either wire or wireless.
The user can share files through the network instead of copying a file to a floppy. Also, it can share other resources connected to the network.
